I was heading out to the dove lease when I spotted it. I live over in the Craddock/Bishop area, and when we were driving down Wonder World the fire looked like it was right behind campus. Once we got out to the lease which is east of town, it was easier to tell that it was north of campus. The fire put out a lot of smoke and looked much larger than it actually was, although it was cool watching a DC-10 drop fire retardent on it. Latest news report I read on it puts the fire at 25 acres with 0 structures damaged and they expect 100% containment as of this afternoon.
