Floating down the river
I think that floating down the San Marcos is the best thing to do.

Yeah, I agree. A couple of brews and a lazy float never hurt anyone.

My problem was always how do i carry enough beer for a long float. Then i realized a small keg fits right into a tube perfectly.

For a fun day on the river even in cold weather I recommend kayaking.
you have way more control than with a tube and you get excercise!

Good call, but I think it would be over foamed by the time you went to pour.

As a former Austinite I can say that kayaking on a nice sunny day is fun. But floating down a slow moving river is by far one of the greatest ways to truly relax.
