Gordo's Burgers and Stuff - San Marcos, Texas

I've seen signs recently for Gordo's Burgers and Stuff. This is not the same Gordo's that is on the square.

Without getting into the legal background behind who owns the name, Gordo's Burgers and Stuff was around long before Mark Brown ruined the name and now they are back.

I have not had a chance to try them yet, but they were the best in town years ago. Don't let the name fool you, if you have been in town less than 10 years or so. This is not the same Gordo's that everyone complains about.

Not sure. They have a delivery sign outside the Tavern, on LBJ.

They are right next to the Tavern on North LBJ. Either they just got a new sign in the window, or I wasn't paying attention the last few times I drove by. I'm going to try their burgers tomorrow.

that's not exactly right...gordo's was not gordo's before mark and the new gordo's that's opened is his old cook who's even using signs from the gordo's on the square...you can't say that's not a little shady

If it wasn't Gordo's before Mark, then he should have no trouble protecting the name from being improperly used by his former partner.

At least now I know what I want for dinner.

So are you saying it's the same Gordo's food, or no? Gordo's burgers used to rival the Tap Room's for best in town...
