You can look in the paper. But the best locations are ALWAYS advertised with signs in the front yard/windows.

The really cool houses, never have any trouble getting rented so the landlords NEVER pay for an ad anywhere, they just put a sign up and people show up.

If you looking for something in town, that's funky, and homey...ya gotta drive/ride around. Otherwise the paper is filled with rentals everyday, and even more on Sunday.

Are you looking to purchase rental poperty, rent some property or both? The reason I say both is because buying a duplex and renting out the other side for close to your note would be a sweet plan. Obviously you'd have to have money down. Good luck.
