The best outlet malls in Texas are in San Marcos. You really should visit them both (side by side for convenience!).

I manage to clothe my family and myself for a lot less from the same stores most people shop at. It's nice having it right down the street.

I do love the outlets in san marcos but the round rock one is pretty awesome too.

I went on a Tax free weekend once, it was terrible, we left and came back on Sunday closer to sundown, the selection wasn't as good, but at least there wasn't an unruly mob being unruly.
