Not to show my age, but it has been a decade since any real punk bands played Gordo's. IMO the only reason they don't have better shows there is because of the owner and management. As far as venues go, there is an awesome pit down there in front of the stage. Bring back the age of slam-dancing!!!

The pit has been gone for almost 10 years. I helped tear it out of there. There are a few reasons that there aren't more good shows at Gordos':

1) There is nobody qualified to set up the sound properly.
2) They don't really do anything to help promote their shows.
