Anyone thats been to Sewell Park on a sunny day has seen this guy. "The Frisbee Guy" some people call him. My buds and I call him Riverman.
Legend has it that Riverman was here long ago, b4 the river existed. Riverman longed for a river to lounge by and to throw frisbees over. Riverman, so saddened by the lack of a river, cried. He cried and cried, until a river of tears appeared. A river for him and all his river friends to enjoy.
Myth? Perhaps. Legend? Yes. Hogwash? Not if you ask my friends and I in a drunken stupor.
:shock: i dont like that guy, he's an ass. He stopped by pizza inn while i was working, and bought a soda from our fridge, pulls up to counter and gripes how xpensive it is..well duh..we're not walmart, so anyways the total was like 1.21, and he gave me 1.25 , dollar and a quarter. Well we were short on pennies so could only give him three pennies back. He made a stint saying.. oh so it's ok to short the customer even tho the company still makes money. I was like..oh ok well wutever heres u're quarter back..even after i told him we ran out of pennies.
Yeah I rememer that guy on the bike. He had a weird haircut. Half of his head was like bald. Um we used to call him grasshopper 'cuase I think his bike was green and he wore green clothes too. I haven't seen him around recently. Think last time I saw him was like a couple years ago . I was shocked to see him though he got hit by a car or something. There was also a rumor goin around that his cat fell off and he ran over it, the one he used to ride around with. heh. sucks.

"Grasshopper" lol, thats hilarious, i remember that one. Green Meanie was another. Yeah i heard all those stories too, heard he got put away for stealing electricity, who knows though.
:lol: yah, u better believe it.. and only way i knew it was him..is because he insisted i know him! First thing he said after i greeted him was, you know me...i play frisbee out at sewell park , and i said oh yah..and then..BAM went downhill from there..
Frisbee guy is gay. heh. doesn't he wear like red and white striped shorts that go up his crack. does he like pick up people and ask 'em if they wanna play with him.? can't remember if he has a dog or somethin that he plays with...yah he's mean 'cuase one of my friends grabbed a bamboo stick by the river and he came haulin ass sayin to put it back 'cause it was his, he uses it to get his frisbee out of the water.
Lol, yeah thats him. Ive never spoken to him, just used to see him at Sewell all the time. We would hang out there and play basketball, volleyball and swim. He would always be there, wearing those same ol texas flag runners shorts and sometimes a panama jack hat. Lol, what a combo. Im sure I'll see him there this weekend.
I'll say this.....He's pretty damn lucky in my book...Not only his he able to fit into some speedo's at his age, but he can afford to hang out at the river all day..Bikini Beach no 'doubt. The only thing I feel in this matter is envy......
