Basically the article states that their is a growing number of men who spending alot of time/money on themselves to look nice. What makes these guys different from gays is that they're straight. The "metrosexual" cares about his appearance almost greatly more than woman, buying fancy suits,shoes, watches, cologne, getting a stylist.....

Now that is all fine and dandy..but why in the hell does the media feel like its important to coin a word for this as if it is its own sexuality...or genre. I think thats stupid.. could it be that some guys just like to spend money on themselves? Or... rather pay for quality over thrift?

Yeah, it is kinda funny they tend to throw a huge spectacular spin on this sort of thing. Ya know, men used to wear wigs, makeup, frilly clothes, elaborate jewelry, and practically flit about looking more like women than men - it was called the Renaissance Age. Good grief, I wonder if men started wearing tunics again they'd call them "minisexuals."
