The Ruben at the 74th St Ale house in Phinney ridge is awesome. You should also visit the Beer Authority on 127th and Lake City Way. A great beer and tap selection. Probably one of the best bottle shops in the state. A great place to get a growler filled too.

Abruzzis Pizza and Pasta in Normandy Park - great Pizza, House Special is to die/kill for.

Archery Bistro in Normandy Park - real good flavor combos, good beers on tap

Elliott Bay Brewery in Burien - assorted American, good stuff

Chisos in Fremont - Sushi

Ume Sake House in Seattle - Sushi

+1 on El Goucho for Steak

Portage Bay in Westlake - Organic and natural restaurant ... hella good and well priced.

Bai Tong in Southcenter - great Thai food

I know their are more but this is my start.

I hate, hate hate! Patty's egg nest. it's gross breakfast food, i cook WAY better food than that, avoid Patty's unless your 64 and wanna cash in on your AARP bene. cuz it's cheap, large portions and boring food, with decent quantity but crap quality!

+1 for Pecos Pit...Cleanest kitchen I've ever been in.....and I have been in a lot of kitchens in the Seattle/Tacoma area.

Bring ya down south a ways to Cave Man Kitchen in Kent...love their BBQ....and they will smoke anything you bring in. "You choke em, they smoke em. : )

For Pizza:

The Rock...great atmosphere and awesome pizza. Their Sledge Hammer IPA extremely good!! The original is in downtown Tacoma, but now they have grown quite a bit and have a few more locations around the sound.

Thai Bistro in Federal Way.....Excellent....very fresh food!!

Happy Hour: Famous Daves, El Gaucho, Eliot Bay Brewery

Bars: The Star Lake Inn - Auburn, The Tin Shop - Burien, Knee High Stocking Co - Seattle

Burger: Country Burger in Kent (more of a lunch place).
