Agreed here. Out of the options available in a buffet type place, King Buffet was probably the best of the options. The food was pretty good, not stellar, but on par with about any decent Chinese buffet I have ever gone to.

I have to retract my original recommendation as it appears they've been turned into a Big5 Sports. I need to get out more.

I used to really like the Great King Buffet in Lynwood, but within the last year I think the Wonderful Buffet in Smokey Point has better food at a more reasonable price.

There used to be a good one in Bellevue but it went out of business probably 10 years ago. I think the problem is that with so many really good regular Chinese restaurants in the area, people don't like to eat soggy food that'ss been under the warmer a long time, like the stuff at Safeway. For a buffet to work, they have to change out the food frequently and that costs a lot of money, so with buffet prices and all-you-can-eat it's hard to make it. I used to get a nice lunch for $5.95 in the mid 90s there.
