Warning-Don't buy a Westinghouse TV

Despite some apparently great deals for Cyber Monday, take some time to read the comments below and also check Westinghouse Digital on the Better Business Bureau, and save yourself a lot of grief. Even look on their Facebook page. Sometimes when we think we are buying "American" it's poor quality made in China and there is no customer service when the product fails. Unbelievable.

Yep. The last American made TV was made in Springfield Mo. They closed probably 15 years ago.

If you think about this, it is really sad. We invented it, and it should have stayed in this country.

Why is it sad? We are a microwave society that wants things cheap and fast. We want to earn more and pay less for stuff. We have migrated from a industrial workforce to a service workforce. We have the technology and resources to make us petroleum independent but choose to make 3rd world dictators rich beyond belief.

Sad, yes, what we have become as a nation. Am I bitter, yes, for what we're leaving our children and grandchildren, cause we were better than this.
