Gumbo2Geaux is the best. Great Cajun dishes great prices. An awesome lunch any day of the week.

Another great restaurant if you like BBQ is Bodacious BBQ on Barksdale Blvd. You can smell the smoke before you even walk in the door! My wife's favorite is the Botato...baked potato smothered in pulled pork.

If you're looking for good, homecooked Tex-Mex you should try El Guapo, on Greenwood Road in Greenwood right off I-20 exit 5.

Have not lived there for about three years now, but...

Lunch: Rolling in the Dough, Gumbo2Geaux, Ichiban, Stoner Landing (now closed), Caines, any Crawfish stand - but Shavers on Youree is pretty good.
Dinner: Copelands, Olive Street Bistro, Superior Bar and Grill, Kobe's.

Don't buy the Ernest's hype. I actually had to ad salt and pepper to my steak to stomach it. Expensive and crowded.

Hands down it's Superior Grill. The margueritas are off the charts! (I think the food was good too, hard to remember!!)
