I was not saying that
you were not overqualified, what I was trying to say is that many people in a hiring position use the term "overqualified" to reject job candidates because they feel that their own job may be threatened by that overqualified candidate.
At this point in my career, I would love to be able to find an overqualified candidate I could hire who would make my life easier in the short term and eventually take over for me when I retire
