The Independent
The Independent Restaurant and Bar

The Independent doubled its draft capacity around a year or more ago. Both bars have a great selection both in bottles and draft.

I agree on the independent - was in there the other day and seemed like a cool spot. Decent selection and prices, cool vibe.

Also a pretty sweet little thai restaurant right around there too - I forget the name but good food!

the indo is perfect for drinks but I prefer to eat next door for the full union square experience! .. such as Journeyman or Ronarong or even that other place with the name I cant remember.

The Precinct often has some good local bands, definitely worth checking out!
