Sturgis South Dakota
I went to the Sturgis bike rally this year. The Black Hills are beautiful.

The Black Hills area is indeed quite incredible. The town of Sturgis itself is a bit questionable though.

We strolled around town a couple of times. Like you said, downtown was no big deal.

Sturgis is a dump. Deadwood, Keystone, Needles Higway and Iron mountain road are some of the most beautiful places in the midwest. Bar none.

I would agree that sturgis isn't much, but the rest of the black hills is beautiful. Especially the scenic drives.
