You guys have CLP (or whatever they call it now)? I let my old CWP lapse for the sidearm, the hunting gear is always broken down and in the trailer during season.
Until they get lock boxes for all models, I wouldn't carry one. Too dangerous even with a CLP.

I have an old H&R Stainless .32 magnum 5 shot revolver. Fairly compact gun. Don't really feel like I need 15 in a clip.

Been around 42 years myself, and also have never needed one. Of course, odds are, had we both found ourselves in positions of needing one, I'd still have been here to respond... but likely wouldn't have had a post to respond to.

Define "safer". If you live in a locale devoid of assault, armed robbery, home invasion, and murder, by all means, tell the rest of us about this Utopia.

Me, I live in the U.S.; and to date, have never lived in, nor even heard of, a crime-free town, city, county, or state.
