A spot shoot is a shot gun competition that you attempt to make a perfect shot, and hit dead center of the target.
It is a great family sport at only $2,50 per shot, & I found out the other guys don't like getting beat by my daughter shooting my gun.
Around here a lot of clubs and org.s use this type of competition to create some income for the club.
The prizes run from a big batch of meat (like a box of bacon, box of steaks, pork chops or loin, a ham, and in some of the bigger shoots as much as half a cow) to a cash prizes.
Here is a winning card that my daughter shot, before you guys start laughing remember this was done about 35yds away with a stock barrel and only one shot of AA heavy 7 1/2 shot. She won $25 cash, she loves that.
The bottom card is one of my wins, this one I walked away with a 8lb. box of great tasting bacon.
It is a very fun family sport, if you have not tried this. Find one in your local area, grab your shotgun and give it a try.
