A) Lebron is a traitor who grew a big head in Cleveland, and eventually gave up on his own team in the playoffs, then announced his leaving to the world on national television, before he even told his own teammates.
B) Lebron is just doing what's needed for him to get a ring and become a basketball legacy, instead of just a great player.
I'm really interested in how the general public feels about this...

Smart. The PR that people are spreading about him hurting his legacy is overblown. The media is still looking at trying to replicate the next Jordan. Are Russell, Chamberlain, The Big O, Jerry West legacies hurt because they all played on stacked teams? Those championship teams of the early NBA had rosters with 4-6 HoFamers.
Basketball talking heads are upset because it comes down to the bottom line. Money. Miami sold out with just Wade. Cleveland sold out with Lebron. Now only one of those teams will sellout. That's why Dan Gilbert went off and I don't hold it against him. LBJ cost that man 100s of million dollars this season if not a billion. If someone effected my pocket that way I would go off on them too.
Not being from Ohio, I dont care either. I was hoping, even though I'm not a Lakers fan, that he would go to LA, but I guess there are too many 'enlarged egos' there already. Guaranteed ring, if that was the goal...
He wants to be a winner, but doesn't want to earn it. Jordan said it best: "There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team.'... In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys."
