From a European now living here in the States, the only thing I miss from back home is my sports, I was always a Rugby fan (All blacks v s. Africa was my first ever game)...American sports are just too slow, all the stop/starting dragging the last 5mins of the game out, I can't do it. Now you think Rugby is impressive, you should try a little GAA (Irish football), Aussie rules or international rules if you can find it, all 3 are similar games.

This is the main reason I can not watch football! sooo slow after playing rugby. I get bored waiting for play to resume. And pads, who needs pads!

We always went up to the guys team after to show off our bruises? Was that not right? They were badges of honor, you were to wear them with pride!
People these days, need pads and helmets for everything and hide bruises.
