What defines a sport?

I know we have all had this discussion, but specifically to you, what defines an activity as a sport? I have a buddy that says, if you can accurately check your watch while performing the activity, it's not a sport. Another friends says that you must break an exercise sweat. What is your definition?

Well what about if it is represented in the Olympics?

wait.... that excludes darts, doesn't it?

and my favorite sport of Football... but it does include hockey
