Favorite BBQ Joints?

I know MO is known for its barbecue, what's good in Springfield?

Second Crosstown.

Buckingham's isn't too shabby.

Danna's in Branson/Branson West is tasty--though it seems to have less emphasis on the process. Still good stuff.

Have you ever tried Pappy's Place on Main just north of Chestnut. Or Oscars in the parking lot of Price Cutter Plus but I haven't seen them is a while. Crosstown is good. Whole Hog Cafe is not too bad.

+1 on Crosstown. I wasn't impressed with Whole Hog, but I've only given them one try. Is Boxcar BBQ still around? I used to really like that place, but I think they might've closed down.

This is interesting to read, considering I work at a BBQ place.

That little shack up there at Price Cutter off Battlefield near 65 makes some good sandwiches.

i've always been a fan of Buckingham's but you have to go to the old one next to Bass Pro. The one up off the highway just doesn't have the same essence to me. I'm also dying to try WholeHog off of sunshine and campbell.

Buckinghams is over-rated. There used to be a place called Tiny's just east on I44 that was awesome (15 years ago at least).
