Home Brewing clubs

I live in Mountain View, but was wondering if there were any beer / home brewing clubs I could join in the region. Mountain View is 100 miles East of Springfield. Thanks.

Okay, doesn't seem to be anyone responding to my thread about home brew clubs.....Maybe I will try and start one in my region. I am wondering how many people in the West Plains / Mountain View area do Home brewing?

There is a health food store in Mountain View that sells kits and equipment, so I have to assume someone buys that stuff. Anyone?

I have always been interested in getting in to the club atmosphere, I am in Springfield as a student currently. Let me know if you find anyone.

I found some info about a club at a brewery in Rolla:

They say that they're serious but maybe they might be open to new home brewers?

I am a home brewer in Springfield and just ran across this post. I'm not sure what you have found yet but I know Springfield has two pretty active clubs. I wanted to let you know there is a competition in Springfield on October 1st 2011 at Creekside Bistro. If you are interested you can call Bear at (417) 893-8131 or it is also listed on the AHA website. hope this helps?
