Why is there always traffic on 270?

I graduated from Desmet in 97.
It was a problem back then.

I lived in soco and worked in Earth city and 270 was bad all the time. My dad would take 70 out until he got older ( we worked together ) eventually my dad hated the highways so much he took the "back roads" Kingshighway to Delmar out to Hanley and cut over to the rock road out to earth city.... wasn't too bad but lots of stop and go, but guaranteed to get you to work or home sooner than 270 lol

270 is no worse than any large city's traffic. Rush hour is terrible here but some cities experience St Louis type of rush hour traffic 24/7. Count your blessings or move.
