Favorite place to get good craft beer in tampa? - Tampa, Florida

Mine is World of Beer (WOB) in Westchase. Its expensive but they have a lot of great beers on tap and even more in the bottle. The atmosphere there is pretty cool and they have a lot of great events. For instance: During the premire of Brew Masters on Discovery channel WOB put on a little party and had the dogfishhead 60 minute ipa going through a randall filled with hops while everyone watched the show.

The Independent in Seminole heights. They are about to open a world of beers in s. Tampa too. I'm not sure what to expect.

Dunedin Brewery is a neat place if you live over by Tarpon Springs, but for central Tampa it is ruddy dry; full of dive bars and the regulars.

Beverage castle has a great selection on Fowler but is a bit expensive.

Dunedin brewery is great as is the cigar city brewery tasting room... Provided our illustrious city council doesn't shut it down.

Dunderbaks near USF is an awesome place to get an amazing ever changing variety of Beer. Cigar city is also a great brewery to try their beers. Tampa B.E.E.R.S meets at Dunderbaks the first tues of every month so if you want to join a Brew club its one of the best in the state, and you can try lots of peoples' homebrews at the meeting.

I was actually thinking about joining this club. What do they do on a typical meeting?
