I agree with some that Ybor can definately be a mixed bag. I would say the vibe of Ybor changes with the time that you go. If your looking for the cultural/historical thing go during the day, cool architecture, good cigars, good cofee, and a few good restaurants. They usally have the Farmer/Artisan market thing going on Saturdays too. If your into Clubbing then its either Ybor or Channelside if your in Tampa. Just remember that the later it is the sketchier it gets. Park in the parking garage and go with a group if you can. I'm more of a pub guy, so if I'm in Ybor I'm usually bar hopping with my buddies. If your into pubs James Joyce is cool to visit, its above Green Iguana.
