I need a primer on downloading torrents. I've recently started using MIRO and Pirate Bay so this is new territory for me and I 'm trying to figure out what's par for the course. I know that download speed depends on several factors, i.e. type of connection, seeds, peers, leeches, file size, etc. MIRO works well enough and I'm converting to Apple universal on MIRO converter. One problem is that I want to make sure my download speed is optimized. Another is that I don't know what the terms peer, seed and leech mean? Lastly, then I convert to Apple some downloads won't convert. I've learned to stay away from torrents with subtitles. Any help would be appreciated or point me in the right direction.
