April/May trip to Gulf Coast

We are planning a trip to the Gulf Coast states 4/25 - 5/10. Looking for info on weather, things to do and things to see.

As we speak it's 66 degrees, so the weather is a mystery at this point. That's usually when we get a lot of rain, if we are going to get it.

We'll start around the Browsville area and head toward the eastern states from there.

What part of Texas are you coming in from? It'll help let us know where you might be able to go. If you coming from the North or west, you won't be able to drive to the east, well you can, but it's going to take some serious time.
