I don't remember the name, but for my honeymoon we went to San Antonio and stayed at a bed and breakfast on the riverwalk right by the orange statue thing. The road that crosses the river by that statue, the resturaunt is on the north west corner of the road/river intersection.

Don't ask a skinny man, if he knew a good Mexican Restaurant, he wouldn't be skinny.

If you're in Amarillo, La Frontera and Acapulco are great Mexican food joints.

Dang it... now I am hungry!
They are in several places around the state. I have eaten in the one outside the gate at Lackland AFB and at the one on the south side of Houston and the one on 45 on east side of Houston. Don't get me wrong each has great food and each seems to have something individual about it too.

Around Abilene you have Abuelo's which is a good choice. There's also several really good local joints here. La Popular Bakery is great for quick breakfast burritos.
