I think there's not a lot of them. I've noticed a lot of places mix the authentic food between the Tex Mex.

Does Shreveport count? ... if so Superior Bar and Grill is the best....other than that... Mercardos in Tyler is good... then Dallas has Don Pablos...

Los Cucos, the fajitas a la diabla are excellent. There are dozens of good places here in San Angelo. I don't recall ever having bad mexican food here.

I wish I could say the same thing. There a couple of places here in San Marcos that I have found hair in the food. It always tasted good, but that just ruined me on them.

I stick with Los Vega, who recently got their old GM back. They started scrimping in ways that were going to lose them business, mainly to go tacos were 25% the size of in house tacos.

I also like Napolitos, both are within a mile from another, if I drive by one and they're busy, I go to the other.
