What did you do instead of Fireworks?

I went to bed early. Please someone tell me they did something cool. I celebrated all day, without fireworks though there was no way I was staying up late.

On the 4th we'd drive around the lake to a cove near where the fireworks were set off. It was small town stuff but we were small town kids. The rest of the year we made pipe bombs. [we really were sorry about St. Jude's parking lot....it was an accident! RLY]

I didn't see any stands open, but then again I wasn't looking (don't wanna burn anything down). Kyle had them on the backside of the Plum Creek golf course.
