Safe travel

Where in the world is there a place to travel and be pretty safe? I would like to travel some, see Europe, Asia, Russia and others, but I would like to live to tell about it. How is travel nowadays? Any ideas anyone?

I'd have to say that apart from obviously troubled regions, travel is as safe if not safer than ever before.

You might even want to consider Montreal and Quebec City for a taste of Europe on the same continent
