JeepForum - SoAZ Chapter - Tucson Branch

So, ChrisNukem and I have just gotten an idea about starting another club in Tucson. There are already a lot of clubs here, so this one would be a sub-group of JeepForum. Chris is going to talk to Keith, and see if he is okay with that. If he is, I think we will need to come up with a formal mission/goal to be a real club...or we could always just go out wheeling.

What does everyone think? Would you want to be part of this club? I don't want it to be just another eclub where we're all a bunch of webwheelers and never go out.

Use this thread as a sounding board and think tank.

not that i am a fan of the toyota fj, but i do like how they run their 'club'...

they just get together and wheel organizing via their forum and sometimes calendar.

wish the local jeep and 4x4 clubs would do more of the wheelin' myself.

I agree with skivviss, the azfj guys have the right idea. The Phx guys meet every friday night and do a run at Table Mesa. I would like to see something like that, none of that "Club" bs. I would be fine with a donation for a site but don't want the hassle of monthly meetings and club dues, and all of the drama that goes with it.
