They didn't fill ruts. They used them for traction.. You'll see the one hill that has them!!

anyone going to predict the weather? but really, what elevation is the campsite?

weather this week in our area is supposed to approach 80s by friday. should be cold but not freezing in the mountains... i hope.
elevation looks to be about 3200-3400 for turkey creek:

last time we camped on top of a hill so it was a little windy but that was September. If we do make it all the way to turkey creek the wind won't be bad but it is all shade down in there so that is a factor. We will have to play it by ear to see where we are going to camp at.
So no dilly dallying around.

Wear your flannel PJ's for beddy bye time.. Day time running will be very nice.. No snow or freezing rivers are in the forcast..
