drive up Friday afternoon and set up camp (location TBD)
Saturday:
- Soldier's Pass
- Broken Arrow
Lunch in town somewhere
- Greasy Spoon
Set up camp (location TBD)
Sunday head back home.
With this being the last weekend of EJS, it's likely to be the least busy weekend in Sedona until it gets cold again this fall.
If weather holds up it appears to be 50ish low at night, and mid 70s during the day.
I've wheeled both Soldier's Pass and Broken Arrow when I was stock, and was told Greasy Spoon would have been do-able stock as well but I ran out of time that trip.
have the out-of-towners go too, they can rent one of the near stock rubicons from nena at the rental place for some fun?
can probably even do the easter egg, etc. stuff on sunday in sedona if you really wanted.
i don't want to head up when sedona gets crazy busy, those trails with all the individuals, and pink jeep tours, and such get crowded and kinda unfun, imo.
Forest's grandparents are even less into that than my wife. Enjoy. Between Sedona, Pyeatte and Ajax I have a case of wheelin envy going on. Three Feathers on Sunday may be my only cure.

Hi Skivviss,
We are headed to Sedona Thursday night for the weekend. Not camping though we just made hotel res,, wife leaves all the camping to me and my camping buddy's. Your Saturday sounds fun! We were going to do those runs so if you want to meet up with us let me know, we might be doing some short hikes and doing some photography.

heya mike
let's plan to meet saturday at 8:30a:
Barlow Jeep Rentals
3009 West SR 89A, Sedona, AZ
i like to stop in there, buy their over-priced maps and 'check-in' with someone local that would notice if we don't make it off the trail.
it also helps support a local AZ wheelin' business, so some goodness out of it to.
Mike and Bonnie from over in ABQ met up with me Saturday for 3 trails around Sedona.
The quick and easy Soldier's Pass. The amazingly scenic (and even several optional obstacles to play on) Broken Arrow. And a drive through a different kind of Sedona, the grassy ranch lands west of town, formerly Greasy Spoon but now called Diamondback Gulch.
backdrops in sedona always rock:
