Two must eats in Tucson

If you ever come through here you have to check out Chariot Italian Bistro and Lukes Italian Beef. They are awesome family owned joints. And Lukes makes you feel like you are at a family place instead of just another restaurant.

I'll chime in with several more unique to Tucson eateries:

El Charro (Downtown has a great ambiance)
Hifalutin (owned by the same people as Baggins)
El Guerro Canelo (mmm...Sonoran Dogs)

I agree on El Charro (downtown), Luke's and Eegee's. All I get for lunch is a stupid turkey and cheese sandwhich. Lame.

Didn't care much for Hifalutin or El Guerro Canelo. I much prefer the roach infested carts on the side of the road. That's where you can get a good sonoran style hot dog.

I have yet to try two new places on 4th avenue. The B-Line (not new) and a burger joint.

Bison-Witches is good.

El Charro (downtown) is great. Kids liked the McDonalds with the dinosaur outside.

Luke's on Ft Lowell - the others aren't as good in my opinion. If you like Chinese go to Sczechuan Omei. Not quite as good as when Magdelene owned it, but I think it's the best in town. Texas Roadhouse for steak that you wouldn't grill yourself. I can't recommend sushi anymore - most places are hit-or-miss.

Can anyone recommend that Five Guys burger joint? I still can't get near that place they are so packed.

I really like the Texas Roadhouse rolls. Those are delicious, oh so are their steaks.
