Well Its Hot

Went to do my clutch today and found that I have a ton of water in my gear oil,
I need a new rear main seal, a new tranny mount, a new input shaft gasket,
a new drain plug for the transfer case, new u-joint straps, and I'm sure I am
forgetting something else. Oh what fun.

And I found these u-joint u bolts on quadratec Original Replacement Parts A490 - 1310 Series U-Joint U-Bolt Kit - Quadratec
and I am wondering if they will work on my YJ.
I know i will have to drill out the bolt holes but it will be worth it if
I can get something more secure then those stupid straps on there.

Q-tec shipping is a killer. Isn't there a 4x4 shop locally where you could pick them up cheaper? As far as the size, I believe they are correct, but it would probably be better to consult with Mean Max or Paul from JF.

Yeah I wouldn't get them from tec. I was just using that to show the part I
wanted to get.

Yeah, I've rounded those little 7mm (or whatever odd size that is) bolts more than once, so I hope you find the correct part because I also need to do it to my jeep.

Maybe if you go to NAPA they could just order the part? The whole u-joint with u-bolt won't be much anyway.. Nothing special about that joint, it was madde by the train car load..
