You may need a 4x4 to maneuver the roads and a pocket full of change for the tolls but other than that its great. Lots to do around the downtown area but my personal favorite is Riverwalk...Not quite San Antonio but still fun.

I know, i absolutely LOVE when they close the lane or road for rush our traffic and give no kind of advanced warning, I work Downtown too, I come from Sapulpa, I hate orange barrels!!!!

I moved from Tulsa to Houston about 15 months ago and miss it a lot...Much better quality of life there...

But at least I'll be back for a week starting monday!

Been here almost 50 years, good people, big enough to do whatever you need, but not overwhelming and impersonal.

Had some crime lately, but seems to be localized in a couple of areas mainly.

Yep, bottleneck downtown makes hard to get home. I've been taking 15th St to the BA.
