Don't know when this message was posted (today is 08/25/12-Grandaughter's 19th)but, I find the best way to plan a trip is to go to your local Wal Mart and purchase a current "RAND McNALLY ROAD ATLAS".....within it, you will find a lot of interesting sites already marked along the roadways and even preplanned "scenic routes" are marked for various trips within the area.....this way you won't miss an area you may just drive by if you don't know how close you are to it (I'm speaking from "hindsight" as I missed areas I would have liked to have visited, but didn't find them until I got home, )......this note may help others plan your roadtrip....
