On the Rise Bakery in Richmond has great pizza, try the second story or the 4 cheese flatbreads.
Closer to town, I'd have to say either leunigs or sweetwaters. Always a great meal there! American flatbread has some awesome choices if you're into the localvore scene.

American Flatbread, any of the Vermont Sandwiich Company shops, Arvads is pretty good in Montpelier, and honestly some of the the Mobil's along rt. 100 serve great sandwiches if you're in a rush.

Parker Pie in West Glover. I know West Glover but the food is awesome and they have great beers on tap that change all of the time.

The Farmhouse Tap and Grille in Burlington is our favorite so far. Food was excellent (burger and meatloaf), and the beer selection is great. Maybe it is getting a bit cold now, but check out the beer garden out back.

I am from MA, but my family has always spent a ton of time in Lebanon/NH and White River Junction/VT.

It is a tradition to go to AJ's in White River Junction. Totally hidden, but one of our favorite places.

I recently visited The Vermont Country Store and ate lunch at the restaurant right next door. It was excellent.
