I am starting the hobby of making my own cheese at home, but don't know of any suppliers local to Madison/Milwaukee. Can any one suggest any stores for buying supplies in WI? For now I have been looking at getting these things online, but I would prefer local sources.

I'd look in the Yellow Pages if you haven't yet done so. You can also do a Google web search using "cheesemaking AND {insert Madison or Milwaukee)" Lose my quotation marks.

My 8 years in Wisconsin lead me to believe it's just got to be available in Wisconsin.
