I am in Michigan, but can see Wisconsin from my house since I live on the border. I do all grain batches and have a good Wit I brew along with a Sam Adams Clone that seem to disappear quickly. In the process of building a keezer and searching for a 1/2 barrel for a boil kettle. Member of the Tricounty Fermenters group up here.
My son just got a kit for Christmas and I'm sure it will be getting used. I will have to link him this post to help him get started.
He lives in Grafton and we also spend a bunch of time in Pearson were the in laws live.
