Looks like Doug Melvin is finally going for some pitching!!!!! Next season looks suddenly very interesting!

Oddly, I'm a fan of both the Royals and the Yankees, so I'm a little sad about the trade. However, I'm glad Greinke is staying in a smaller market. He strikes me as the kind of player who wouldn't do well in NY, Boston, etc.

Seems like the management actually is getting it done. Saw Greinke on the news. Seemed like a cool guy.

I was going to go on a hiatus from Miller Park, however it appears I may have been wrong. Go Brewers 2011!!

I'm a White Sox fan, so if we can't get Greinke, then I am glad you guys have him. Love to see the pain in the butt he will be for the Cubs

Well on paper the Brewers look to be a playoff team. I'd love to see it. Greinke is going to make or break them.

More pitching added today with the signing of Saito. Melvin is clearly "going for it" this year...can't wait 'til April!!!
