Um, wow. I had heard it was a big project but wow. A guy at work said something about getting the fill from an area outside of Suamico to use for fill and turning left over hole into a wetlands

I drive between Madison and Appleton about two to three times a week, and the construction project between Fond du Lac and Green Bay is a multi-year project. They are widening HWY 41 to 3 lanes that whole stretch. It is a pain and will be til about 2012 I believe. Lots of fill on the Butte mor Bridge too. I believe the WIDOT has some 3d pics and info on the whole project on their website.

It's bad enough with 894 being all torn up and every bridge being torn down and redone as well as the on/off ramps. At least they replaced the zoo interchange bridge since that one was all cracked. Now if they could do something about the bottleneck that happens at the 43/894 merging area.

Well Fond Du Lac has cleared up a lot, they moved all those barrels north to the Butte Des Mortes bridge on now. Oh Well, if it helps move things along in the long run, I'm all for it. Plus this summer in Oshkosh, I think every single road was under construction so I might just be used to it now

Yeah, 41 really is a mess. It's nice when traveling from the north though. The extension of 41 up towards Crivitz cut off half an hour for a trip from my house to Green Bay.
