The Cloudland Canyon State Park is a state park and recreation area in Rising Fawn, Georgia. It is one of the largest and most scenic of all the parks in the state of Georgia.

Established in 1938, the Cloudland Canyon State Park was formerly known as the Sitton Gulch. Like many other state parks in the country that was started in the 1930s, the first structures at the site were built by the CCC or Civilian Conservation Corps. It was originally accessed through Tennessee and Alabama, but with the creation of the Highway 136, it was already easily entered within the borders of Georgia.

Today, visitors of the Cloudland Canyon State Park can enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking, caving, camping, and disc golfing. There?s also a tennis court at the site for additional recreational activity.
