Haleakala is an inactive volcano standing 10,023 ft tall and the Haleakala Park is seen on some part of the mountain which includes the summit up to the Kipahulu sea.
The view is a must see and is really amazing because you can view the perfect cinder cones from the Kalahaku Overlook. Tourists will definitely love to see different kinds of trees bearing and growing all over the park. Eucalyptus trees and imported pine trees are planted all over the grove which were among the first few projects on the national park. Birders will also love to see the different Hawaiian birds that are from custom and traditional species.
The road up to the summit is curvy and steep. But it is definitely worth it when you reached the top. The best Hawaiian view is waiting for tourists every morning at ten. This is when the clouds are starting to form.
People can enjoy the view for a entrance fee of $5 for Adult visitors and $10.00 for every vehicle and occupants. Some campers can also enjoy the nature trip of this national park. They can camp for a maximum of three days but has to make reservations.
