In the 1980s, development of real estate in Chicago manifested. And one of the most significant structures that can prove this growth is the Yale Apartments. Until now, it?s considered to be a reflection of Chicago?s rich character as an urbanized yet culturally-grounded city.

Yale Apartments stands seven stories high, and is known to be an important residential high-rise building that?s built during the early generations. A building of such type as the Yale Apartments was only made possible by the advancements in Chicago?s building technology. Stylistically, the building is a large-scale example of Romanesque Revival style architecture. This was popularized by the buildings of Henry H. Richardson, which exhibit fineness in craftsmanship in both materials and detailing.
The Yale Apartments also has a very interesting interior atrium. It?s circled with beautiful galleries, and when you look up, you?ll see the bright skies with the glass and metal rooftop. Everyone who comes in will be welcomed by the pretty skylight.
