The Emmett Kelly Museum contains a collection that features historical artifacts and costumes from the man?s famous Brothers Circus clown character, ?Weary Willie.? The Museum?s exhibits include Sparky the Clown by D. W. Washburn who is another Kansas native, memorabilia from the earlier days of Emmett Kelly, local Indian artifacts, and other historical artifacts related to the Civil War, and the World Wars.
This Museum also sells Original Emmett Kelly Circus Collection Limited Edition Figurines, T-shirts with the Emmett Kelly Museum Logo, Tote Bags, books, mugs, and other items for sale.
The Museum is open from mid-April to mid-October, Tuesday to Saturday at 10a.m. to 4p.m. and on Sundays at 1p.m. to 4p.m. There are also year around showings that are available by appointment.
