The Wilson State Park is a state park and recreation area in Sylvan Grove, Kansas. It is best noted for providing access to the Wilson Reservoir and for its scenic location.
Established by the Kansas Legislature in 1966, the Wilson State Park features the Wilson Lake also known as the Wilson Reservoir. The lake is famous for having the clearest waters in all of Kansas, with over nine thousand acres of surface area and more than 100 miles of shoreline. This adds to the total stunning scenery of the park where visitors can easily enjoy boating, camping, bicycling, fishing, hiking, hunting, picnicking, RVing, and swimming. Waterskiing is also allowed and enjoyed at the park.
Considered as a prime recreational spot in all of Kansas, the Wilson State Park also requires a park permit to gain entrance.
