In the 1950?sblue grass style of music was introduced by Bill Monroe?s the ?The Blue Grass Boys?. It has a special king of genre, including folk ballads, African stomp, blues and rural ?old time? playing. Kentucky or the Blue Grass State is the home state of Bill. Kentucky is so called because of the beautiful horse farms that are planted in bluegrass. Bluegrass occupies thousands of acres in the states central part. Clogging is the official Kentucky State Dance. It is an energetic native dance of the locals.

The International Blue Grass is the one-of-the-kind facility that is dedicated to preserve the history of the Kentucky State. Mr. Monroe created this museum. It is located near his little hometown, Jerusalem Ridge and Rosine Kentucky. As one draws near the River Park complex in Owenstore, guests are greeted by Blue Grass music emana from music station RBI, the museum?s pride. This museum aims to inform and inculcate people of all ages about the rich culture of Blue Grass music.
