The Stonehenge is one great mysterious work that people all over the world continue to marvel upon, even after thousands of years when it was originally built. This is why, as homage to the great wonder, versions of it scatter worldwide.
One notable replica of the original thing is the Kentucky Stonehenge. Built by Chester Fryer, it wasn?t an exact replica, but it is a very entertaining spot to visit. Its design is primarily to build a compass, with extra tocks to mark the directions. No clear reasons are given as to why it was built.
The Kentucky Stonehenge stands in a private property in the small town of Munfordville, Kentucky. However, visitors are welcome to take a peek at the replicated marvel.
